Founder of Bet Angel and pioneer of sports trading

Peter Webb

Peter joined Betfair in June 2000, just days after they opened for business. Despite having three young children, he left a senior position in his existing career to pursue a pioneering path through sports markets. Since then he has traded nearly 300,000 markets, analysed over 1,500,000 and spent the prime of his working life trading and gaining an incredibly deep understanding of how the market works. He has actively taught others since 2004 when he introduced the concept of trading on sports to financial market participants. Since joining Betfair he has gone on to be one of the most successful traders / gamblers ever.

The course provides a clear description of what sports trading is. There are clear overlaps between Forex and Sports trading but a different underlying / fundamental understanding of the sector. It is clear that I need to go over parts of the course again to fully understand the nature of the beast. It would have been good if somewhere there was a checklist/flowchart of the process (placing a single trade)

Very informative, concise, and to the point. Delivered by a first class tutor, who obviously is a genuine expert in his field. Trading of any sort doesn't come without risk, so NEVER use money you cant afford to lose as theirs always the possibility of losing your stake, no one wins every time. Losing is part of trading.
